"Click on Sport" Photographic Competition - "
the woman im the sport "
Click on Sport is a contest of Sporting Photo but it is different from others competitions.
Firstly, it takes place during a Sport Medicine and Cardiology Congress, in that we strongly believe that the sport’ significance can be conveyed more easily through pictures than words, by giving to photography a cultural importance that goes over the technical aspects.
Secondly, Click on Sport is also different in the photo’s judgement procedure. A technical jury composed by skilled professional photographers will select the works we receive.
The finalist photos will be judged on the Congress opening day by a popular jury composed of 50 paretecipants: physicians, phisioterapists and nurses. This way we can guarantee more transparency and since the winning photos are chosen by no-professional people, the contest will get an unpredictable judgement which comes from emotions rather than from a careful analysis which would be difficult to be obtained by a technical jury.

PRIZES
The Association Ambrosia organizes a photographic competition that will take place every year in coincidence with Medicine and Cardiology Sport Congress on occasion of
Giornate Sportive a Portotorres
1. The competition is open to all photographers.
2. The registration is free.
3. The theme of the photos is " the
woman in the sport " .
4. The closing date is 10 june 2010. Pictures arrived beyond this date will not be accepted.
5. The pictures will be examined by special judges, whose judgment is unquestionable and final.
6. The judges will choose 6 photos among the admitted ones, that will be rewarded during the days of the Congress.The prizes cannot be cumulative.
7. Any author can present max 3 (three) photos exclusively in JPG format without compression (resolution max 1600 x 1200 pixels) color or in black and white, even if the photo has been presented in other competition.

9. The shipping and handling of the material are chargeable to the participants.
10. It is compulsory for all partecipants to send the

11. The Organiser cannot accept any liability for any damage occurred to any images entered in the competition (how so ever caused) nor for any other loss. The images copyright will remain with the photographers, but the Ambrosia Association reserved the right to use any entries in publicity material, exhibitions and publications, to promote this Photographic Competition with no-profit purpose.
12. Taking part to the competition implicates the complete and unconditional acceptance of the present rules and the norms of the Competitions F.I.A.F. (Federazione Italiana Associazioni Fotografiche)
